A triptych of staged and subverted iPhone ads

AdBlockers is a triptych composed of light boxes that simulate the scale, form, and content of mobile phone street advertising —particularly from Apple iPhone. In these reinterpretations, the devices appear dressed in balaclavas, assigning them an identity through antropomorphic anonymity. Through this personalization, the traditional composition of product photography turns macabre, suggesting situations of silencing, threat, espionage, and idolatry
